How to Keep Your Chakra Balanced and Clean

An imbalance in the chakra system can have a major impact on your energetic health. If you feel dispirited, unenthusiastic, or general out of sorts, there’s a chance that your chakra system isn’t aligned or functioning properly. However, with a few good habits and simple lifestyle changes, you can cleanse and balance your chakra and bring your life back on track. Here are some tips that can help you with this.

Meditation and Exercise

People have been aware of the benefits of meditation and exercise for thousands of years now. If your body is fit and your mind is calm, your chakra is almost always perfectly aligned. You don’t need to head for the gym or spend hours running. You can just perform simple stretches or yoga asanas every morning for 30 to 40 minutes to contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

Meditation also doesn’t take much time. After you’ve finished your exercise and stretches, you can let your body relax and your heartbeat slow down as you meditate for 15 to 20 minutes. This routine won’t take more than an hour of your time but it can balance the chakra system and contribute to a healthier mind and body.

The Right Food

Food has a great impact on your overall health; so if you eat healthy, delicious, and home-made food prepared from fresh produce, your body and mind as some believe may appreciate it. There are many fruits and vegetables that work to maintain the balance of a particular chakra. For example, carrots, beets, onions, eggs, beans, meat, tofu, horseradish, chives, paprika, etc, may nourish your root chakra and help maintain its balance. A healthy diet may go a long way to keep your chakra system aligned and efficient.

Cleansing Baths

People are busy with their professional and personal lives these days so many don’t have time to relax in warm baths. Some take five-minute showers in an effort to save time and get on with their day. However, it pays to set aside some time once or twice a week for a chakra balancing bath. You need to burn a few scented candles around the bath and add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the water before you soak.

The aroma would soothe your senses and relax your body. You should make sure that you’re not distracted or disturbed during the process so don’t bring wine, books, or phone to the bath. You just need to let your mind drift and not focus on any thoughts. In essence, you’ll be meditating in your bathtub so after you’re done, you’ll be very relaxed and the chakra system will be cleansed and balanced as well.

Clean Your Environment

Your environment can have a negative impact on your chakra as well, especially if it’s dusty, messy, and odorous. You should set some time aside to clean your surroundings, especially your bed. Make sure you have fresh linen to sleep on, especially during stressful days. Clean surroundings will open up your chakra system and ensure you feel great about yourself and your environment.

If you incorporate these habits into your life, the chakra system will be balanced and healthy.
